Yesterday
The company AKU was founded in 1990. We started with wholesale of paper articles. Thanks to our hard work and persistance we made considerable progress. All profits were invested in our production. Initially we specialized mainly in paper articles but soon we introduced foil converting. In response to market demands we were consistently widening the scope of offered products. For the first 8 years our company was situated in Gdansk - a major city located on the Baltic Sea. Then we decided to buy production-and storehouse facilities in Tczew - a small town near Gdansk. Since that time we have been looking forward with much optimism and we have made serious decisions on our investments. We have purchased high-duty automatic machines to convert foil and to produce paper bags. At the beginning of the year 2000 we founded our branch office in Bydgoszcz, and we immediately conquered the local market. In the middle of the year 2000 we dramatically widened our offer introducing the production of various household articles - cleaning cloths, sponges, scourers.

Today
We are the leader on Polish household disposable products market. We successfully manage to couple long term experience and enthusiasm of our young team. Our products are sold under following private labels: KUCHCIK, PIKNIK, and POLPAK. We offer products from our catalogue and articles manufactured according to individual requirements of our customers as well. Our main customers are not only Polish wholesalers but international companies which are supplied with products under "private labels". High quality and competitive prices of our products enable us to export 20% of total production to Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

Tomorrow
We enter the XXI century as the company with over 10-years' experience and a stable position. Our main target is to continually develop our enterprise, widen the range of offered products. But first of all we concentrate on enhancing our manufacturing base and widening our sales-network. We are interested in long term co-operation with our customers - we realize we can succeed in achieving our aims only in close and fruitful co-operation with our partners.
